This information is *incorrect*. The Palo Alto squadron of CAP is alive, well, and active. The *cadet* group of this squadron was consolidated with the Moffet cadet squadron and a third cadet squadron. The Palo Alto Squadron is now a senior (adult) squadron and no longer a composite (adults and cadets) squadron. Squadron meetings are held Tuesday nights at 7:30PM through about 9:30PM at the squadron headquarters, located just south of the control tower at Palo Alto airport. All persons interested in search and rescue and aerospace education are cordially invited to attend, meet our members, and learn more about CAP. The squadron phone number is (415) 856-6311. There's an answering machine, and we try to return all requests for information. If you desire additional info on CAP and have trouble with the answering machine or desire an immediate response, please feel free to contact me at (415) 964-1428 (home) or (415) 390-5037 (work).
